Our two dedicated ophthalmology consulting rooms are fully equipped with direct and indirect ophthalmoscopes, slit lamp biomicroscopes, digital tonometers with the ability to perform gonioscopy and ultrasonography as required.
Our ophthalmology operating theatre has a modern operating microscope and all the appropriate surgical instrumentation to enable us to treat a wide range of surgical and medical conditions.
Our dedicated ophthalmic nurses are trained to use neuromuscular nerve blocks and ventilators.
We also offer a pre-cataract assessment, to include a consultation, ERG and ultrasound. This can determine whether the patient is a surgical cataract removal candidate.
Ocular ultrasound is available and can be used to investigate lesions through opaque ocular media or image retrobulbar disease. It is also used to take measurements of ocular structures.
