10 year old Roxy suffered from glaucoma. Despite the best efforts of our vets and the dedication of her owners, her vision could not be saved. Roxy’s eyes were painful and she required frequent medication.
Our veterinary ophthalmologists advised that both of Roxy’s eyes should be surgically removed.
This was heartbreaking for Roxy’s owners but following surgery, she made an excellent recovery.
Two months later, we were delighted to hear from her owners:
“…Thank you for looking after Roxy and completing her successful eye operation… Roxy is fine and she seems to be adapting to being a blind dog well. We had our first trip to the beach last week, something she loved to do before her blindness. Our other dog Jo Jo is helping as well.”
