At 77kg, loveable Dexter the Saint Bernard is one of our larger patients.
He is a real gentle soul and behaved impeccably during his stay with us while he was under the care of our ophthalmic vets for his eye problem. Dexter needed surgery to improve the shape of his eyelids to prevent them rolling in which was causing him discomfort and corneal ulcers.
His enormous size meant that he only just fitted on our operating table! Just look at the size of his paw next to our nurse, Woody’s hand!
